Are you looking for a reflective space in which to consider your work?
Do you feel depleted? Need to be reminded that you are a skilled and able practitioner?
Or maybe you want to use creative methods to explore the deeper unconscious elements that influence your work?
If you are just starting out in Private Practice you will want someone experienced to support you as you expand your client base and flourish. Somewhere to consider all aspects of your new venture, as well as exploring and developing your work with clients.
I have many years of experience as a UKCP registered supervisor, and am also an accredited EMDR Consultant/Supervisor.
I supervise qualified counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice, the NHS, charitable organisations, and local Universities. I also offer consultation to other professionals e.g. nurses, medical and allied staff, psychologists, chaplains. These sessions can be taken individually or in collegial groups. This is a calm and positive place in which to consider your psychotherapy and counselling work with clients in a reflective way, and to think about your own needs as a practitioner.
More focused sessions are offered for those seeking EMDR supervision, or wanting to work towards accreditation or their own consultancy.
I want to expand and disseminate knowledge about how attachment disruption impacts the development of intimacy in relationships throughout life. I value the increasing neurological and psychological knowledge available to us as practitioners and as people, to enhance our clinical work and personal lives, and am always keen to consider new ideas.
There are creative ways of expressing what you experience....
Using sand, clay, crayons, paint or pebbles can help us speak the unsayable..
